NWMES membership is open to individuals who are interested in all aspects of Model Engineering and the operation and maintenance of a miniature railway.

You may also visit us at one of our evening meetings and introduce yourself to any of our members or have a chat with us regarding membership at one of our public events.
The following are our membership categories and current subscription rates
Ordinary £38.00 less £2.50 per month from February
Senior (over 65 / unwaged) £33.00 less £2.50 per month from February
Members over the age of 75 pay no subscription (Donations always welcome)
Junior* (under 18 years / full time student) £12.00 less £1.00 per month from February
There is currently no joining fee but new members are required to contribute to the Company assets by the purchasing of a share in the Company to the value of £1.00.
* Junior members aged, up to and including, 16 years, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.The parent or guardian does not necessarily have to be a Member of the Society.
Membership runs from the 1st January.
Membership of NWMES provides the opportunity to come together with others who have an interest in the hobby of model engineering and running and maintaining a miniature railway. Members are more than happy to share their experiences and to give both advice and assistance to those new to the hobby.
